Stephy Tang was all smiles as she greeted the media at her first public event since announcing her new relationship.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared alongside Sandra Ng to promote the movie, “Love Lies”, stated that she was introduced to her new boyfriend by a mutual friend, and they started dating after getting to know each other.
“He is an outsider, so I don’t want to affect his life. I want to keep the relationship low-key,” she said, adding that she wouldn’t have confirmed the romance if not for the paparazzi exposing her relationship.
When mentioned that her new man is also a Taiwanese just like previous boyfriend Prince Chiu, Stephy said that it was not intentional. She also said that there won’t be any long-distance issue since her new man lives in Hong Kong.
As to fans saying that he looks like Rain, Stephy laughed and said, “He has no reaction to that. Thank you everybody for the high praise.”
Stephy also said that she hasn’t thought about marriage or made it a prerequisite for her new romance, saying that she doesn’t want to feel so pressured.
