Nicholas Tse has been selected to receive this year’s Screen International Star Asia Award at the New York Asian Film Festival (NYAFF).
The news was announced by NYAFF through its official social media platform, writing, “NYAFF is honoured to present the 2024 Screen International Star Asia Award to Hong Kong actor Nicholas Tse. Tse is a triple threat and then some, actor, singer-songwriter, even a TV chef!”
“He entered the show business at the age of 17 and has been dazzling audiences with his acting and action chops for the past two decades. He became the first person to win in three major categories at the Hong Kong Film Awards (Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor and Best New Performer).”
The organiser also revealed that Nic’s new movie, “Customs Frontline” will be screening at this year’s event with tickets already going on sale since 20 June.
Other stars who have been honoured with the title include Aaron Kwok, Louis Koo, Gordon Lam, and Japanese actor Hiroshi Abe.
