Naomi Campbell has opened up for the first time regarding the birth of her two children, saying that she opted for surrogacy.
The 54-year-old British supermodel, who spoke to The Times, said that her two-year-old daughter and her son, whom she welcomed in June last year, both were delivered via a surrogate mother.
She also admitted to be happy being a single mother, and encourage others to do the same, saying that her mother took care of her when they had nothing and that she was able to make it work.
“My babies are everything to me. It’s made me fear for the future,” Naomi said. “I hope for a better world for my children. They are 110 percent my priority. I have to be there for them on their first day at school.”
It is noted that Naomi was rumoured to have adopted her two children in the past, which might be the reason why she decided to open up about surrogacy.
