Han So-hee’s camp recently stressed that there is no lie in the South Korean actress’ previous statement that she was accepted into a French university in the past.

As reported on Korea Times, in a statement released by 9ato Entertainment on 29 April, the company stated that Han was telling the truth in the interview with Na Yeoung-seok via the renowned programme director’s YouTube channel.

“She was indeed accepted into a school in France. Specific details are personal and are difficult to be shared,” the rep added.

In the said interview that was released on Na’s channel earlier, Han said that she was accepted into a French university but that she had to decline the offer as she has to have a lot of money in order to obtain a visa and enrol in the university.

“Working 12 hours at a beer hall would earn me 1.8 million won, but two hours of model shooting would get me 3 million won. After doing a snack advertisement, I had 20 million won in my bank account. I considered working three jobs to earn 60 million won and go to France, but here I am instead,” she said.

Her statement sparked doubt in many, with some netizens saying that an admission to a French school would typically require a French Language proficiency test.
