Ungu’s upcoming concert in Kuantan has now found a new date, after it was postponed earlier as a show of respect for the Ramadan month.

Organiser Showpro Entertainment recently revealed that the concert, “Konsert Ungu di Kuantan Bersama Artis Tanah Air 2024” will now be held on 4 May, and that they have also added Malaysia’s own rock queen Ella as the guest performer.

“Choosing Ella as the main guest artiste was not a difficult decision, in fact this decision was a great desire for us to unite our own Malaysian rock legend with the legend that is Indonesian rock band Ungu on the same stage,” said Showpro Entertainment’s Datuk Sivakumaran Nair.

He added that he wanted to create a meaningful musical experience in Kuantan, as a tribute and appreciation to the fans of Ungu and Ella on the east coast who also want to enjoy this special concert experience in their own state.
