Leo Wu (also known as Wu Lei) may look calm and collected. But just like everybody else, he is also quite nervous about returning to his place of studies.
The actor recently returned to his alma mater, the Beijing Film Academy to promote his new movie, “Dwelling by the West Lake”, and was noticeably timid and nervous as he talked to students at the academy.
He also admitted to this in a Weibo post where he shared several photos from his former school, writing, “Some people appear calm and happy on the surface, but secretly they are nervous and sweating.”
Leo also admitted that he immediately blushed when his teacher showed him the WeChat message he sent when he graduated, where he promised to perform well and not embarrass his alma mater and teachers.
Turning 24 this year, Leo has been in the business for 20 years now, having made his debut in commercials at the tender age of four. He had since filmed lots of TV series and movies, including playing a role in “Nirvana in Fire” when he was just 15.
