MAMAMOO’s HWASA is poised to delight her fans, “Twits”, in Singapore for her solo fan concert tour.
CK Star Entertainment is proud to present the Singapore stop of “HWASA the 1st FANCON TOUR [Twits] ”, at The Star Theatre on 22 June 2024 (Saturday) at 7PM.
HWASA first debuted as a member of renowned K-pop girl group MAMAMOO in 2014. She enjoyed an illustrious journey with the group, being loved for her unique voice, vivacious personality, and unabashed confidence before signing to K-pop sensation PSY’s label P Nation.
In 2019, HWASA officially launched her solo career with the release of digital single “Twit” (2019), personally participating in writing and composing. The song quickly attained widespread acclaim, scoring a revered “Triple Crown” by topping South Korean Gaon’s (now known as Circle Chart) music charts – Gaon Digital, Gaon Download, and Gaon Streaming.
HWASA is well-known for her fearlessness in defying norms and breaking barriers, her music centres around the topics of self-love and empowerment. The track “Maria” (2019) bears the message of “you’re already beautiful as you are”, while “FOMO” (2021) is dedicated to overcoming one’s fears. Her single, “I Love My Body” (2023), is a cheeky feel-good song about going against stereotypes and gaining self-esteem.
Her upcoming fan concert tour, “HWASA the 1st FANCON TOUR [Twits] in Singapore” expresses her desire to forge deeper connections with Twits for the first time, with the heartwarming tagline “The thrilling first meeting of ‘HWASA’ and ‘Twits’; I’ll shower my love on stage once more today”.
