Steven Cheung has dismissed the notion that he is unemployed, after pleading for social media followers to donate money to him and his family due to their financial difficulties.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the former Sun Boy’z member, who drew flak after sharing his QR code on social media, revealed that he had many people sending direct messages introducing and suggesting jobs to him following the previous social media post.
“In fact, I am already working two jobs at the same time and I am not idly waiting for help,” he said.
Steven said that sometimes he can’t leave the house because there was nobody to take care of the children, and that one adult alone can’t take care of four young children especially with one of them needing special care.
It is noted that Steven’s eldest son had been diagnosed with autism.
“This is because we were not mature enough and did not make arrangements before having children, but we have improved step by step now,” he said.
However, Steven thanked everybody who did help them sincerely and said that he will pay them back one by one once he and his wife settle down.
Steven married wife Man Man in 2019 and went on to have four children in succession within five years. In November, Steven revealed that he found a job working at a sex toy shop, though it was later revealed that he had quit.
