Inspired by the Malaysian annual music competition, “Anugerah Juara Lagu” (AJL), producer Rosix Omar is now bringing to you a new music extravaganza called Loop Music Festival.
The upcoming festival, sponsored by AirAsia and Tune Group as well as RJ Sales, will be uniting iconic Malaysian legends and chart toppers from various genres including pop, ballads, R&B and even traditional music.
It is scheduled to be held on 11 May at the Axiata Arena, Bukit Jalil, Malaysia.
Speaking about the festival, Rosix said that he was inspired by AJL to have great performers of Malaysia gathering on the same stage to entertain fans.
“That is how I had the idea to invite Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza, because to me, she is synonymous with [AJL],” he said.
Aside from Siti, the festival has also invited big names like Dayang Nurfaizah, XPDC, Kugiran Masdo, Amelina, Noraniza Idris, Ronnie Hussein, Aisha Retno and Nadeera Zaini. Others include Usop, Sufian Suhaimi, Imsoniacks, Lucidradi, Disko Santan and Arish Mikael.
“We plan to turn Loop Music Festival into a yearly event. Maybe we can have artistes from Indonesia and South Korea as well,” he added.
