More than 40 international and local stars of various music genres are set to gather at the Supalapa Festival, which will be held for two days beginning 2 March.
The festival, which will be located at the Resorts World Awana, Genting Highlands and organised by Maestro Production and Prodigy 1 Nation, will feature the likes of Tiesto, The Kid Laroi, EAJ, Somi, XG, Ali Gatie, Armani White, Tones and I, Ian Asher, Keemokazi, Paul Van Dyk, Rave Republic and Notep.
At the same time, it will also feature artistes like Yuna, Saixse, Kidd Santhe, Talitha, Cluadia, Belle Sisoski,Jovynn, Coex, Forceparkbois, DJ Ziqq and Axel Groove.
Parthiban Murugaiya, Chairman of Maestro Production stated that the festival will be a benchmark for entertainment festivals in Malaysia.
“We hope that the first edition of the Supalapa Festival will be a long-awaited annual event. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience all kinds of music at this festival. What is important is that the Supalapa Festival is able to help boost Malaysia’s name among foreign tourists on a par with international events,” he said.
He also hopes for the festival to become a global brand for world music festivals.
