The Taipei District Prosecutors’ Office recently revealed that they will not be indicting entertainer Tina Chou aka Da Ya following Blackie Chen’s defamation suit against her.
Tina had earlier accused the TV host of sexual misconduct.
As reported on Mingpao, the office, which has interviewed five witnesses following the suit, determined that Tina did not fabricate her facts and will not prosecute the entertainer.
The non-indictment letter pointed out that there were enough evidences including mobile screenshots to support her accusations of harassments against Blackie.
In response to the situation, Tina took to social media, saying that her heart feels warm despite the cold weather.
“I have always believed that justice will come, thank you for the justice, and thank you to all the friends, family and strangers who care about this matter. I still believe in doing the right thing without hesitation, and I hope this news can bring encouragement and confidence to those friends who are still stuck in MeToo. Come on!” she wrote.
