Netflix has denied reports that the Yoo Ah-in drama, “Goodbye Earth” will be released in April next year.
A source from the streaming giant issued a clarification amid rumours that they are currently in talks to release the drama in April 2024 with as many as possible scenes involving the actor to be edited out.
“The release schedule for ‘Goodbye Earth” has not been set. It is temporarily postponed,” said the source. “We will provide the information as soon as it is confirmed.”
The drama was supposed to be released this year, but was postponed following allegations of Yoo’s habitual drug use.
Aside from “Goodbye Earth”, Netflix also held its release of Yoo’s movie, “The Match”, while his role in “Hellbound 2” has been replaced by Kim Sung-cheol.
