Twins’ Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung are breaking their own record by holding eight shows for their upcoming concert at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
As reported on Mingpao, the duo, who announced their “TWINS SPIRIT” concert late last month, originally revealed that they will be performing at the coveted venue from 21 to 23 January, as well as 25 to 27 January next year.
However, after priority tickets were sold out in less than two hours after it was opened, their record label EEG decided to add two more shows on the 28th and the 29th.
It is noted that Twins held five successful shows during their last concert at the Coliseum.
“As a group, it is really rare to be able to hold a concert after 22 years in the industry and celebrate it with everyone. This concert is very meaningful to us, knowing that there are so many people supporting it. We are touched and happy and we hope that everyone will have a fun night,” said Charlene.
Tickets will go on sale on 22 November, which also turns out to be Charlene’s birthday, while the first show will be on Gillian’s birthday.
