After much speculations, Song Ningfeng’s wife Zhang Wanting finally confirmed that she is pregnant with their second child.
As reported on NetEase, Zhang recently posted a video of her interaction with her daughter online, where fans can see clearly her pregnant belly before she announced that she and her actor husband are having a second child.
Though fans of the couple were elated by the news, some expressed mixed feelings about it. Some, who watched season two of the variety show “See You Again” and were reminded of how Zhang treated Song in the show, believed that the two have a “suffocating marriage”.
It is noted that Zhang was previously criticised for belittling the actor on the show, with many fans of Song believing that the marriage will not last. In an interview during the show, Song admitted that he got Zhang pregnant while they were dating, and that the two tied the knot without thinking carefully of their decision.
Zhang also echoed a similar sentiment, stating that she and Song might have broken up by now if not for the unexpected pregnancy of their first baby.
Prior to Zhang, whom Song married not long after they met, the actor was married to actress Xi Qi. The marriage ended after seven years.
