After ten years with Warner Music, Hong Kong singer Jude Tsang revealed that she has finally decided to lead her own way in music by departing from the company.

The singer shared the news on social media on 10 October, writing, “It’s been a wild ride, full of ups and downs, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with such a talented team.”

Jude did, nevertheless, admitted that she was a little disappointed with her time at the company, as she is still the same unknown artist that she was when she started.

“However, I must say that I am thankful for the experience and the connections I’ve made. And most importantly, I’m grateful for the fans who have stuck with me through thick and thin. Without their support, I wouldn’t be where I am today. I am probably a liar to you all since my music takes forever to be released,” she continued.

The singer also admitted that she is “broke as hell” but that at least she has her freedom.

Friends in the industry took to the comments to cheer her on, including Pakho Chau, Janice Vidal, and Jay Fung, the latter who wrote, “The best has yet to come. Keep going, Jude!”
