It was reported that Yang Mi has now established an independent management company, which has been named Tianyi Entertainment.
As reported on Oriental Daily, the actress, who walked away from Jay Walk Studio back in May this year, is said to start the new company with her mother as well as her new manager.
It is said that her mother holds 60 percent of the shares, while the said manager, Shi Yao, holds 30 percent. No news as to who holds the remaining 10 percent shares, but this, it was reported, will allow Yang Mi to enjoy greater freedom in the future.
The company has not revealed as to whether they have other artistes under their roster.
Yang and her two agents previously invested millions of yuan to establish Jay Walk Studio in the past, though the actress reportedly only held 19 percent of the shares and was with the management company for a decade.
It is noted that Yang was one of the founders of Jay Walk Studio, which is a collaboration with H&R Century Pictures. The studio was established in 2012 and manages stars like Dilraba Dilmurat, Vengo Gao, Wayne Liu, Bambi Zhu, and Zhou Keyu.
