Taiwanese TV personality Mickey Huang has been released on a NT$ 350,000 bail following interrogation by Taiwan’s Taipei District Prosecutor’s Office.
As reported on Oriental Daily, aside from the bail, Mickey was also restricted from exiting Taiwan and is issued a ban from harassing his (alleged) victim and her family.
It was alleged that the prosecutors have interrogated Mickey for his previous live broadcast whereupon he accused and named other artistes who were suspected of taking drugs.
Mickey quickly left the District Prosecutor’s Office around 6pm surrounded by his entourage, and did not say a word in the face of the media’s continuous questions.
It was back in June that a social media influencer named Zofia accused an unnamed celebrity who was later revealed to be Mickey of committing sexual misconduct against her when she was 17. Although she mentioned no name, many were able to guess that it was Mickey based on her clues that the man is a TV host, has a baby daughter and collect figurines.
In response, Mickey went online and admitted to the wrongdoing, and additionally ‘exposed’ several other artistes for their various misconducts as well.
