Crystal Fung recently warned netizens and fans alike to not fall victims to scams using any celebrity names.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was interviewed at the Miss Hong Kong 2023 pageant, was asked about a recent social media post saying that she would be holding classes to teach people how to make good investments.

Crystal stressed that it was nothing more than a scam.

“I have clarified this and announced it on social media platforms. If you see more fake posts or announcements like this, please help me report them. I will hand over the case to TVB and I hope everybody will be more careful and not be deceived by others,” she said.

Crystal stated that although she does make small investments, she wouldn’t dare as so much as to teach others or hold classes.

In related news, crowd favourite Hilary Chong has been crowned the winner of this year’s Miss Hong Kong pageant, with Lynn Wang becoming the first runner-up.
