Andy Lau is excited to be showing off his artistic talent to many via the upcoming 1/X Andy Lau X Art Exhibition that will be launched this month.
As reported on Mingpao, the Hong Kong star, who spoke to the media about the upcoming event, stated that he felt the same excitement that he had when he made his debut at the age of 17.
“I used to visit art centres a lot. I felt belonged. Even after I became an artiste, the dream has always been there. I think this exhibition is a kind of return to my youth and dream. I also hope to introduce a group of outstanding artists to the public through the exhibition,” he said.
It is noted that Andy has collaborated with five contemporary artists to create a number of unique installation works.
According to the details released by the organiser, “1/X Andy Lau X Art Exhibition” combines Andy Lau with different artists to create works that echo his own experiences, music, movies, etc., and present a forward-looking to the public in various forms such as painting, calligraphy, sculpture, video, and installations.
It will be held from 25 August to 9 September at the Freespace, West Kowloon Cultural District Art Park.
