Hu Ge has recently won Best Actor at the Shanghai Film Festival’s Golden Goblet Awards.

As reported on Takungpao, the actor shared the Best Actor title with Da Peng, the latter who won for his performance in “Dust to Dust”, while Hu himself won through “All Ears”.

Saying that he is happy to win alongside his old friend, Hu Ge revealed that the two have known each other for nearly 20 years.

Speaking about his role in the movie, Hu Ge added, “This is my most profound experience. When an actor falls in love with a character, he is willing to completely give himself to him. I also thank Director Liu Jiayin, because she helped me overcome this hurdle.”

Meanwhile, director Liu Jiayin won Best Director for the movie.

Other winners include Japanese actress Rinko Kikuchi, who won for her performance in “Yoko”, which also won Best Feature Film and Best Screenplay.
