It was reported that Netflix could be releasing a posthumous episode of the anthology series, “Persona 2” starring the late Korean singer and actress Sulli.

As reported on The News, the said episode, which was halted from release due to the K-pop girl group f(x) member’s sudden passing in 2019, will supposedly be released on 16 June, but according to Netflix, everything is still under discussion.

“Persona 2 is a work produced by Mystic Story and is currently under an overall discussion whether to release it for streaming on Netflix and the final release date,” the company stated.

Meanwhile, Mystic Story’s rep echoed similar sentiment, saying that more details will be released in the future.

“Persona 2” is a short anthology film helmed by several directors with one actor as the persona. The first series was released in April 2019 with IU as the main character.

Sulli was cast for the second part, but filming was suspended after one part after she was found dead in October 2019. The actress admitted to be struggling with panic disorder and social phobia a year earlier, and was revealed to have suffered from severe depression.

She was 25.
