Japanese singer May J. recently announced that she is pregnant with her first child.
The Persian-Japanese pop R&B star, real name May Jamileh Hashimoto, shared the good news on her official website on 12 May, writing, “To everyone who always supports me, I would like to announce that I have been blessed with a new life.”
“Right now, I am spending my days calmly both physically and mentally, and I just hope that the baby will be born safely. I have continued to make music with that in mind. I will continue to sing with all my might, with new experiences in my heart. I look forward to your continued support.”
May also added that her future plan is to continue working while monitoring her physical condition.
May J. tied the knot with “Gensan Punch” actor Shogen in June 2022. It is noted that both stars share a birthday month of June.
