Jackie Chan recently revealed that he has plans to film his new movie in Malaysia, Oriental Daily reported.

The action star, who spoke to the media to promote his new movie, “Ride On” recently, admitted that he missed coming to the country, as the people have always been very welcoming to him.

“I originally wanted to shoot a movie in Malaysia, but because of the pandemic, I had to withhold the plan,” he said.

However, Jackie stated that the project will be launched again next year, and smilingly added, “I will not bomb roads and bridges of Malaysia again.”

On the other hand, when speaking about the new movie, Jackie admitted that he cried a lot in the film.

“The second movie to have the most crying scenes would be “Shinjuku Incident”. But this one I cried a lot. It really wasn’t easy. I am very grateful to the director for leading me,” he added.

In “Ride On”, Jackie plays a washed-up stuntman who has to seek help from his estranged daughter after realising that his beloved horse could be auctioned off to cover his debt. It is scheduled for release 13 April.
