Eric Moo couldn’t wait to come home and perform in Malaysia, five years after his last concert.
The Kampar-born singer, who will be holding his upcoming concert at the Genting Arena of Stars on 6 May, stated that he wasn’t able to hold any shows in Malaysia before due to the pandemic and is looking forward to it now.
“I have lots of fans in Malaysia. The three-year pandemic has made everyone’s life difficult. There have been lots of changes, but the only thing that remains the same is that in the past few years, I have accumulated more and more songs, and I hope that the audiences will sing with me at the concert,” he said.
Asked if his daughter will be coming home with him to perform on the same stage, Eric said that Yonghuan is now developing her own music career in Beijing and has her own schedule.
However, he has invited his old friend and Singaporean singer Li Feihui to perform with him and reminisce about his early songs.
“I won’t be choosing songs from a specific period. It’s difficult to sing all the songs, but I believe that the selection this time will be the songs that are in everyone’s mind,” he added.
