Singer JW (Joey Wong) recently stressed that she is not affected at all, after it was reported that her boyfriend and his family have been declared bankrupt.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who has been dating Tarzan Ip, revealed to be an heir of a billion-dollar business, stated that she doesn’t want to say much about her boyfriend’s financial situation and would rather not have him be exposed too much in the media because of her.
Asked if the bankruptcy would affect her, JW stated that she has always been independent.
“I have always worked on my own, and I think we have to support each other even more now,” she added.
Nonetheless, the singer said that they haven’t discussed marriage, and that the relationship between them is quite stable.
“Let’s not think about it too much. I have lots of projects this year. My new drama will begin filming in March and I am planning to hold a concert. Life is like this sometimes, there are ups and downs. It’s okay as long as you don’t give up,” she added.
It was back in November that the media reported about the Ips filing for bankruptcy.
