Anne Curtis is set to make her movie comeback with a project with Erik Matti.

The filmmaker shared the good news recently with a photo of him with the actress and producer Dondon Monteverde, writing, “We don’t shoot movies that are fast and easy. And with someone like Anne who already knows how much bucketloads of blood, sweat and tears it’ll take to do our kind of movies and yet is still so excited and passionate with the story we are going to tell, we can only give it our best to someone like Anne who is hungry to not just make good work but to also pour in the hard work it takes to get it done. Love ya always!!!”

“Excited for 2023!!!” he added.

Anne soon reposted the post on her Instagram Story and captioned, “Excited for this.”

It is noted that Anne has not done any new movies since she took a hiatus from work in 2019 to focus on her pregnancy and the subsequent birth of daughter Dahlia Amelie. Her last movie was the MMFF film, “The Mall, The Merrier!”, co-starring Vice Ganda.

Last year, Anne revealed that she plans to make her acting comeback in 2023, saying that while she missed interacting with people when it comes to hosting, she also would like to start acting again.
