Andrea Brillantes is ecstatic over the fact that she is one of netizens’ favourites to play Mars Ravelo’s iconic character, Dyesebel.

The actress, who was asked about it recently, stated that she is flattered, seeing that she has always been a fan of the character.

Although there has been no discussion about it for the time being, Andrea said that she would absolutely say yes if it was ever offered to her.

“It has always been my dream role,” she added.

It is noted that the last actress who played the iconic mermaid character was Anne Curtis in the 2014 ABS-CBN adaptation.

Prior to Anne, the role had been portrayed by many others including Marian Rivera, Alice Dixson, Ara Mina and Vilma Santos.

On the other hand, aside from Andrea, fans also picked Janella Salvador as the next actress who could play the mermaid role.
