Japanese actor Toshiki Noiri has recently passed away.

The news was confirmed by his agency LDH Japan on 3 January in a statement that read, “Toshiki Noiri, an actor belonging to LDH JAPAN, passed away due to an accident on [Monday], January 2.”

“We would like to express our deepest gratitude for your kindness during his lifetime while respectfully informing you of this. Such a misfortunate happened just as we were going to work even harder together towards the same dream with new thoughts in the New Year. We are very sorry for this.”

“Everyone in LDH is mourning the deceased in great sorrow.”

The company also urged everybody to give the actor’s family some space to grieve the loss, and thanked everybody who supported Toshiki during his life.

Grandson of late actress Harue Akagi, Toshiki has appeared in dramas like “Moongabi Grass Nana’s Sword” and movies like, “The Prime Minister’s Husband”.

The actor reportedly tripped and fell down the stairs of a restaurant in Tokyo on 29 December, and eventually passed away from cerebral haemorrhage.

He was 33.
