Nadine Lustre is getting motivated to make more movies now that she has won Best Actress at the Metro Manila Film Festival.

The actress, who spoke to the media following her win at the event, stated that she would never stop, as the recent acknowledgment has “sparked a fire” in her.

“It’s a huge inspiration for me now. It’s not really about winning. It’s more about inspiring other people. It’s quite motivating to see the result of what you are doing. It’s like a good feeling that you know yourself that you gave your all, you know you did well. It feels good,” she has.

Nadine also admitted that it still felt surreal that she won, since she and the team didn’t expect that their movie “Deleter” would be in the MMFF in the first place.

“I am really really happy because for us, for Team Deleter, it is rewarding enough that Filipinos watched the movie, that they all enjoy watching. A big big bonus for Team Deleter [to win the awards]. I am really really happy,” she added.

The movie bagged seven accolades at the event, including Best Picture, Best Director for Mikhail Red, and Best Cinematography.
