Hey! Say! JUMP member Hikaru Yaotome is set to make his return after a hiatus of nearly a year.

The news was relayed by his agency, Johnny & Associates in a statement, in which the singer revealed that he has recovered to a point that he is now able to return to work.

Greeting fans with a “Tadaima!” or “I am home!”, Hikaru stated that he is happy to finally be able to return to the world that he loves and thanked everybody who supported him.

“I will continue to shine the light and bring smile to as many people as possible,” he added.

It was back in January that Hikaru announced on live radio that he will be taking a break from his activities due to tinnitus, a medical problem in which one experiences ringing or other noises in one or both ears.

Said the singer, he had been having difficulties understanding people talk due to the condition and that it also affected his sleep, which caused dizziness.
