Chinese actress Tang Wei has successfully won Best Actress at the Chunsa International Film Festival.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress became the first ever foreign actress to do so, winning the award for her performance in Park Chan-Wook’s “Decision to Leave”.

The actress bested big names that include Park So-Dam (“Special Delivery”) and Lee Hye-Young (“In Front of Your Face”).

Though she could not attend the event herself, Tang released a video speech thanking Park for casting her, the screenwriters, fellow cast and crew, as well as wishing everybody happiness and safety.

On the other hand, her movie also bagged two other accolades for Best Director for Park Chan-Wook’s, as well as Best Actor for Park Hae-Il.
