Selena Lee is excited to be a producer for the first time through her upcoming movie, “Tape”.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the production launch alongside co-stars Kenny Kwan and Adam Pak, described the role of a producer as doing odd jobs.
“I have to arrange everything, from script, casting, audition, hair and makeup, finding sponsors, to catering. The hardest part of all is when discussing money, which will be the responsibility of another producer,” she said.
When mentioned about her autoimmune disease and if it would recur if she is too stressed with work as both an actress and a producer, Selena stated that she has been recuperating for the past six months.
“Actually, I haven’t fully returned to my old self, just about 85 percent. I had two surgeries on my eyes, and my eyelids are scarred now. You can’t see it now, but it can be seen when I close my eyes,” she said. The movie is based on the Richard Linklater movie of the same name, released in 2001. The film stars former couple Ethan Hawke and Uma Thurman.
