Unlike most of its original fans, HBO is still doting on its biggest hit series, “Game of Thrones”, as it was revealed that a spinoff based around Jon Snow is currently in early development.
According to THR’s James Hibberd, if everything goes to plan, Kit Harington will reprise his role as the fan-favourite brooding hero, with the series to take place after the events of the series that ended its run in 2019.
It is noted that in the final season of “Game of Thrones”, Snow, who finally realised his true identity as a Targaryen, was exiled from Westeros and rejoined the Wildlings and his pet direwolf Ghost.
There is also a possibility that other familiar characters, including his House Stark family members like Arya (Maisie Williams) and Sansa (Sophie Turner) may make their appearances as well.
This is just one of the many projects that is currently in the plan that include “Tales of Dunk and Egg” and “10,000 Ships”. HBO is also set to premiere its upcoming prequel “House of the Dragon” this August.
