Although she is a singer, an actress, a wife and a mother, Miriam Yeung recently admitted that it was the latter which is the one that gives her the greatest satisfaction.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer, who sat down for an interview recently, stated that being a mother to son Torres is very important in her life as he IS her life.
“All I want is for my son to be a happy person in the future, and that the most important thing is that he is happy,” she said.
As for the pressure of Torres being “a second-generation star”, Miriam said that she has never instilled such a concept in him.
“I came from an ordinary family, so I have always given him an ordinary childhood. It doesn’t matter what he wants to do in the future, as long as he doesn’t give up halfway. I think we should encourage young people’s creativity and dreams,” she said.
On the other hand, when asked about her own biggest goal right now, Miriam said that she would like to hold a concert, with plans to restart the 25th anniversary concert which was delayed two years ago due to the pandemic.
