Marian Rivera recently admitted that she is elated to be able to work with husband Dingdong Dantes again after so many years.
The actress, who stars in the new GMA sitcom, “Jose & Maria’s Bonggang Villa” alongside her actor husband, shared that she had to prioritise her role as a mother in the past, and more so during the pandemic when all productions required lock-in taping.
“I couldn’t bear being away from my kids for a long time. It’s good that we don’t need to go inside a bubble for this one,” she said.
Aside from being able to reunite with her husband in the sitcom, Marian also said that the project serves as a way for them to bond as husband and wife.
“We get to talk to each other all day long. I’m happy to be doing this with Dong. On our way here to the press conference, I told him, ‘The Lord is really kind to us, don’t you think? We prayed for a chance to work together again and He answered our prayer,” she said.
As to who takes care of daughter Zia and son Ziggy, the actress said that their parents are there to look after the children.
The said sitcom is co-produced by the couple alongside GMA 7 and APT Entertainment.
