Yes, this is no joke. Spice Girls’ Emma Bunton and Melanie Brown are going to be a part of the fourth season of Netflix’s “The Circle”.
The news was shared by Bunton aka Baby Spice on Twitter, writing, “We’re so excited to confirm that we are going to be on this season of #TheCircle! We’re going in as a catfish and we’re there to spice things up.”
The two of them also revealed in a promo of the said show that they have always been big fans of the show, and that it was a no-brainer that they would say yes when offered to be in it by the team.
“To be in The Circle, we’re gonna be seen in a different light, I think,” said Mel B.
“She’s gonna cook, cause I can’t,” Bunton added.
First premiered on Netflix in January 2020 and based on the British TV series of the same name, the reality competition has players isolated into separate apartments within the same building and are only allowed to communicate via texts on a specially-designed social media app.
Every few days, they will have to rate all of the other competitors from first to last place, with the two highest-rated players becoming influencers and the remaining ones are at risk of being eliminated.
