Despite the early success of “Barrack O’Karma 2”, Selena Lee recently stated that she is not keen on returning for the hypothetical third season.
In an interview with Carol Cheng recently, the actress, who previously opened up about her autoimmune disease, said that two seasons should be enough for her as more of the said project will make it hard for everybody.
“There is a lot of pressure on the producer, editors and actors. Maybe let’s do a different series with other actors, so there won’t be that much pressure” she said.
Selena also admitted that filming the second season was quite stressful for her, and that she has been advised by her doctor to relax as much as possible due to her condition.
“Filming was quite challenging. There was no script when we started, and I only had a character outline and three to four episodes. A lot of prep work cannot be done,” she said.
As to her overseas work, the “Blood and Water” actress said that the only reason that she works abroad was to work on great productions.
“If there is a good film in Africa, I would definitely go there too,” she added.
