Turning 32 on 19 April, Kim Chiu recently revealed that one of her birthday wishes is to return to acting.
In an interview with Star Magic Inside News, the actress, who celebrated her birthday with a surprise party organised by her family and friends, shared that she missed filming dramas, as she hasn’t done any projects since 2020.
“So, hopefully soon, this year or next year I’ll go back to acting because that’s really my first love. Of course, I’m thankful that I was given the opportunity to host “It’s Showtime”, and I’m really happy I found a new family,” she said.
“I am very thankful that no matter what happens to ABS (CBN), I am still entrusted to being given projects,” she stated.
It is noted that Kim’s last miniseries was the iWantTFC’s “Bawal Lumabas: The Series”, though her last teleserye was “Love Thy Woman”. Both were released in 2020.
Aside from a new acting project, Kim also said that she wished for ABS-CBN to be able to renew its TV license so that many people who lost their jobs will be employed again.
