Tracy Maureen Perez is now back in Puerto Rico, ready to challenge herself on the stage of the Miss World 2021 pageant. Again.
On 12 March, the beauty queen shared several photos of her looking all Pinay elegance in her Marc Soliven Ngan’s pearls-embellished white crop blazer and skirt, and wrote, “Here we go, Philippines!!”
“For the second time around, I’m leaving for Puerto Rico, carrying with me our country’s hopes and dreams. Please continue to pray with me, I know that all our hard work will soon pay off and our hearts will shine through! [My dear Filpinos, we will fight and show the whole world the heart and talent of the Filipinos].”
On 13 March, she posted an update, saying that she has safely arrived in Puerto Rico, adding that she arrived a day early and only had to be on her flight for 30 hours instead of the previous 40.
It is noted that Tracy had travelled to Puerto Rico for the Miss World competition last year, but had to return to the Philippines when it was postponed after several candidates and staff of the pageant were tested positive for COVID-19.
The upcoming event will be held on 16 March.
