Julia Barretto recently admitted that she misses working with Iza Calzado and would love to collaborate with the actress again.
The 25-year-old actress, who is promoting her new digital series, “The Seniors”, stated that Iza remains to be one of her good friends from showbiz, after working together in the two series, “A Love to Last” and “Ngayon at Kailanman”.
“She’s like a sister to me. Like a mum most of the time as well. We keep in touch and she also sends me her good energy and her love, and we know how much good energy she has,” she said.
Julia also added that Iza always makes her feel like she is very much present and around.
“But she’s very busy now. Two months in a locked-in taping for Darna,” she said.
Iza is set to play the role of the First Darna in the upcoming series which stars Jane de Leon. On the other hand, Julia plays a student who finds herself getting bullied after transferring to a new high school in “The Seniors”.
