Tang Wei’s camp has recently dismissed rumours that the actress and husband Kim Tae-Yong have called it quits on their marriage.
As reported on Oriental Daily, rumours of marital problems between the two sparked recently, after netizens noticed that the actress has been appearing in various public events in China since September last year.
She was also rumoured to have brought her daughter to settle in Beijing, with no mention as to whether the Korean filmmaker would be moving with her.
Following the rumour, Tang Wei’s agency recently replied to questions about the two, saying, “The rumours about the separation are not true. The couple are very happy. She is also currently doing the voice work on her husband’s movie and the family is fine.”
As to why Tang returned to China, the rep responded, “Sorry, no comment.”
Another close associate of Tang also dismissed the rumours saying that the couple are living happily in both Korea and China.
Tang and Kim tied the knot in 2014, three years after working together on the director’s movie, “Late Autumn”. The two have a daughter named Summer. Tang is also starring in Kim’s new movie, “Wonderland”.
