Following the success of the first two seasons of “Light the Night”, and the upcoming season 3, producer and actress Ruby Lin stated that she would consider producing the fourth season.
As reported on Epoch Times, the Taiwanese actress, who attended an event on 17 February, stated that it’s not impossible for the show to have a fourth season, as long as they have a good story.
“It’s not out of the question. But the scriptwriter said that we need to have a better story. Someone is dead in season 3, so we can’t just keep repeating that and have someone died in season 4 as well,” she said.
Ruby also added that if they were to film the fourth season, it would have to be released simultaneously with a movie spinoff.
The series, which premiered on Netflix in November last year, already announced its third season, which will begin streaming on 18 March.
The eight-episode Part 3 will see Detective Pan Wen-Cheng (Yo Yang) continue the investigation into the murder of a madam at Bar Hikari.
Aside from Ruby and Yo Yang, the series co-stars Rhydian Vaughan, Derek Chang, Puff Kuo, Esther Liu and many more.
