Although being in a long-distance relationship is no easy feat, Pia Wurtzbach and boyfriend Jeremy Jauncey made it look easy, having done it for two years straight.
As reported on Push, the beauty queen, who spoke about their romance recently, admitted that their shared love of travelling is one of the big reasons that they could stay together despite being in different countries.
“Jeremy loves to travel, so it was a perk to be with him as I also enjoy travelling. He is based in Abu Dhabi now, so we meet often. But I still come home to the Philippines because my work is here. For me, it’s just time management. As long as I know in advance, I can make myself available for work,” she said.
As to how they made it work, Pia stated that an open communication is the key.
“It’s important to always talk. For example, we were not together for Valentine’s Day but it can still be special in a way because we have good communication,” she said.
The actress is currently staying in the Philippines to promote her new sitcom, “My Papa Pi”.
