Nick Cheung recently admitted that he has been enjoying his two years of silence by being with his family.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who made his first public appearance to announce the nominees of this year’s Hong Kong Film Awards (HKFA), stated that being in the same room with his family after spending so much time away has improved their relationship a lot.

“My wife and I often hiked the mountains and go on walks to regain the old feeling from when we dated back then,” he said.

Nick said that since there is no way for anybody to change the situation with the COVID-19 pandemic, he would rather magnify the small happy things encountered in daily life.

As for his next project, the actor said his new film has postponed its filming schedule.

“I believe that filming will not begin until the end of the year at the earliest,” he said, adding that he will return to the mainland for a project to relieve his boredom.
