The previous controversy did not seem to change the big-hearted Kim Seon-Ho at all, as it was revealed that the actor has actually made a large donation to a foundation late last year.
As reported on Hankook Ilbo, sources recently revealed that the “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” star has actually donated KRW 50 million (approx. USD 41,740) to the Korea Childhood Leukaemia Foundation in December, but had asked the foundation not to disclose the information.
In response to the report, his agency SALT Entertainment confirmed this, adding, “We ask for your understanding that we have to be careful about giving details, as it was done privately by the actor.”
This isn’t the first time that Kim has donated to the said foundation, having done so earlier last year with the amount of KRW 100 million.
At the time, the agency explained that Kim decided to make the donation as a way to repay fans’ support for him as well as helping the children in need and their families.
The actor is currently filming his new movie, “Sad Tropics”.
Back in October, Kim made headlines after he admitted to be the person mentioned by a woman online who accused him of coercing her into having an abortion. Following backlash and being pulled from several endorsements, it was revealed that there were many misunderstandings that occurred between the two, which painted Kim not as the villain but a man who tries to be there for his loved one.
