Four years after their last album, BIGBANG is set to make their music comeback.

The news was revealed by YG Entertainment on 7 February, stating that the said group will be releasing a new song in spring.

“We have finished recording the new song and are now currently preparing to shoot a music video,” the agency stated.

This will be BIGBANG’s first song since 2018’s “Flower Road”. The group went through a long hiatus following G-Dragon, Taeyang, and Daesung’s obligatory military service as well as the scandal that had befallen their former member Seungri.

In the same announcement, YG revealed that rapper T.O.P will be ending his contract with them and will embark on his own solo project soon.

“We respect T.O.P’s desire to focus on his individual activities aside from promotions with BIG BANG, and that he has successfully come to an agreement with the other members,” the agency added.
