Sivakarthikeyan recently announced his first project for 2022 – a Tamil-Telegu film to be directed by KV Anudeep of “Jathi Rathalu” fame.
The actor shared the news on 1 January on Twitter, writing, “Very happy to join with @AsianSuniel sir @SBDaggubati sir & my frnd @iamarunviswa for #SK20, directed by my fav @anudeepfilm & music by @MusicThaman bro. A fun-filled entertainer on the way.”
The upcoming project will also mark Anudeep’s first Tamil project.

It is noted that Sivakarthikeyan already has two new movies to be released this year and they are currently in post-production. The first film is “Don”, directed by Cibi Chakaravarthi and co-stars SJ Suryah, while the other movie is “Ayalaan”, a film by R. Ravikumar that co-stars Rakul Preet Singh and Isha Koppikar.
Sivakarthikeyan has had a good year in 2021, with his film “Doctor” becoming one of the highest grossing Tamil films behind “Master”, “Annaatthe”, and “Maanaadu”.
