Despite Owen Cheung being the favourite to win TV King this year, it was Shaun Tam who eventually won the said title at this year’s TVB Anniversary Awards.

The actor, who won Best Actor award for his role in “Take Two”, also brought home Malaysia’s Favourite TVB Actor accolade at the event, which was held on 2 January.

Clearly surprised by his victory, Shaun, who is the son of veteran actor Ti Lung, expressed, “Thank you TVB, thank you everyone for giving me this opportunity. Thank you, Eric Tsang. I am very happy to show you my growth. Thank you, Catherine Tsang. You have been very strict with me.”

“I am a very headstrong actor, and I will be more rational in the future and use my sensibility in filming.”
