Fans are elated awaiting the Korean remake of the hit Spanish heist series, “Money Heist” (also known as “La Casa de Papel”).

On 18 January, Netflix released the first teaser of the said series, renamed “Money Heist Korea: Joint Economic Area”, which sees actor Yoo Ji-Tae playing the role of the mastermind, The Professor (originally played by Alvaro Morte).

The teaser showed The Professor in his hideout room as he stares at a variety of masks on the wall, including the Salvador Dali mask used in the original, and finally chooses one – though the camera did not show which mask he finally grabbed.

The teaser also reveals the female inspector who is in charge of the case, played by Kim Yun-Jin (originally played by Itziar Ituño) in the interrogation tent, before introducing images of the characters from the show, with Jun Jong-Seo playing Tokyo, Kim Ji-Hoon as Denver, Jang Yoon-Ju as Nairobi, Lee Hyun-Woo as Rio, as well as Lee Won-Jong, Kim Ji-Hoon and Lee Kyu-Ho as Moscow, Helsinki and Oslo, respectively.

No exact date has been revealed for the said show.
