Former AOA member Jimin is no longer a part of FNC Entertainment.
As reported on Top Star News, the news was announced by the said agency on 13 January, stating that the exclusive contract between Jimin and FNC ended on 12 January 2022.
“We would like to express our gratitude to Jimin, who has been active as a singer under our agency for the past nine years. While our relationship has come to an end, we ask for your warm encouragement and support for Jimin’s future work.”
It is noted that Jimin, whose real name is Shin Ji-Min, left AOA in July 2020 and halted all activities following accusations by former bandmate Kwon Mina that she has been bullied by the former during her time in the group.
Jimin had since apologised, and following a year-long absence from social media, only returned just recently by sharing a new song and a video of her in London.
